Where Does Trump's Immigrant Mother Come From?

US President Donald Trump does not like talking about his late mother.

As Trump keeps dividing the US in the recent past talking about Immigrants, people wanted to know if Trump himself is an immigrant.

Yes. Donald Trump is a second generation immigrant in US, as his mother Mary Anne MacLeod was hailed from Tong, a remote fishing community in the parish of Stornoway, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.

Mary MacLeod reportedly met Frederick Christ Trump at a dance, and the two fell in love. They got married in 1936. The U.S. District Court in Brooklyn made Mary Trump a naturalized citizen in 1942.

Donald Trump was born in 1946 at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He is now 70 and has forgotten that his mother was an immigrant and he is a second generation immigrant.

Mexicans Have Already Started to Boycott These US Companies in Mexico

According to media reports from Mexico, local campaigns to boycott US companies based in Mexico have already begun, with McDonalds, Walmart, Starbucks and Coca-Cola targeted.

Mexico is a country between the U.S. and Central America that's known for its Pacific and Gulf of Mexico beaches and its diverse landscape of mountains, deserts and jungles. Ancient ruins such as Teotihuacán and the Mayan city of Chichén Itzá are scattered throughout the country, as are Spanish colonial-era towns. In capital Mexico City, upscale shops, renowned museums and gourmet restaurants cater to modern life.

As Trump proceeds with his wall, Mexicans are not ready to surrender nor they are ready to pay for his wall. Trump has no policy in place for making Mexicans pay for the wall. Some reports say that Trump is going to impose a 20% tax on the goods imported from Mexico. But everyone understands that such a tax will directly be passed on the US consumers and hence US citizens will be the ultimate payers for his wall.

Trump's America Rejects You. Embrace to BRICS to Teach Him a Lesson

BRICS is the acronym for an association of five major emerging national economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

Originally the first four were grouped as "BRIC" (or "the BRICs"), before the induction of South Africa in 2010. The BRICS members are all leading developing or newly industrialized countries, but they are distinguished by their large, sometimes fast-growing economies and significant influence on regional affairs; all five are G-20 members.

Since 2009, the BRICS nations have met annually at formal summits. China will host the 9th BRICS summit in Xiamen in September 2017. The term does not include countries such as South Korea, Mexico and Turkey for which other acronyms and group associations were later created.

As of 2015, the five BRICS countries represent over 3.6 billion people, or half of the world population; all five members are in the top 25 of the world by population, and four are in the top 10.

The five nations have a combined nominal GDP of US$16.6 trillion, equivalent to approximately 22% of the gross world product, combined GDP (PPP) of around US$37 trillion and an estimated US$4 trillion in combined foreign reserves.

Overall the BRICS are forecasted to expand 4.6% in 2016, from an estimated growth of 3.9% in 2015. The World bank expects BRICS growth to pick up to 5.3% in 2017. The BRICS have received both praise and criticism from numerous commentators. Bilateral relations among BRICS nations have mainly been conducted on the basis of non-interference, equality, and mutual benefit.

Amid Removal of Lungs for 06 Days, Doctors Saved a Young Mother's Life

In a first of its kind, doctors in Canada saved a young mother's life by removing her infected lungs for six days.

Doctors removed her lung due to the bacterial infection which had grown resistant to antibiotics shutting her organs, reports the Guardian.

A small artificial lung was connected to her heart and a successful lung transplant was done six days later after they got a donor.

The lungs are the primary organs of respiration in humans and many other animals including a few fish and some snails. In mammals and most other vertebrates, two lungs are located near the backbone on either side of the heart. Their function in the respiratory system is to extract oxygen from the atmosphere and transfer it into the bloodstream, and to release carbon dioxide from the bloodstream into the atmosphere, in a process of gas exchange. Respiration is driven by different muscular systems in different species.

Mammals, reptiles and birds use their musculoskeletal systems to support and foster breathing. In early tetrapods, air was driven into the lungs by the pharyngeal muscles via buccal pumping, a mechanism still seen in amphibians. In humans, the primary muscle that drives breathing is the diaphragm. The lungs also provide airflow that makes vocal sounds including human speech possible.

In a first of its kind, doctors in Canada saved a young mother's life by removing her infected lungs for six days. Doctors remo...

  • the percentage increase in input is higher than the percentage increase in output.
Diseconomies of scale arises when the expansion of the firm leads to a rise in long run average cost.

Types of Diseconomies of Scale
Types of diseconomies of scale are set out below.
1. Internal Diseconomies of Scale:
It refers to the disadvantages experienced by a firm when it internally grows beyond the optimum size. The following are its two main types;
  1. Management problems: When a firm grows beyond a certain limit it becomes less flexible and difficult to carry out the management functions like coordination, control, communication etc.
  2. Labour problems: Vast labour force, long chain of command and wider span of control make it difficult to obtain cooperation of individual workers.

2. External Diseconomies of Scale:
It refers to the disadvantages experienced by the whole industry when it expands beyond its optimal size. Growth of larger firms leads to diseconomies of scale because of the increased demand for the factors of production which pushes up the prices of them and the cost of production as well.
